This is how Samsung will stabilize the price of the Galaxy S25!

Samsung has made some surprise decisions for its new flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra. Contrary to expectations, they decided to use the existing M13 panel instead of the M14 panel in this model. So, what’s behind this change? Here are the details…

In fact, everything stems from an effort to balance costs. Samsung will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition chip in this model and the cost of this chip is quite high. Moreover, the increased memory, storage and battery requirements have also increased the costs. As such, the M13 panel was preferred to reduce the cost of the display to some extent.

Of course, the M14 panel offers some advantages. For example, this panel uses deuterium in red OLED components. Thanks to this innovation, energy efficiency is increased by 20-30%, while the lifespan of the panel is extended by 10-20%.

In short, it can offer a brighter and more durable screen. However, in addition to these features, the production costs of the M14 panel are also quite high. At this point, Samsung may have preferred to stay with the M13 panel in order to offer a more accessible price tag to the user.

On the other hand, this decision has also brought some controversy in the technology world. For example, Ross Young, one of the well-known analysts, states that the M14 panel is superior, while other sources argue that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will perform quite well with the M13 panel.

Some experts believe that if the M14 is used, the display will offer significant improvements in brightness, color accuracy and viewing angles. However, despite all this, we clearly understand that Samsung wants to appeal to a wide range of users by prioritizing cost.
